Your Cyber Tips, operated by Guard.io Ltd. and its affiliates (“we”, “us”, “our”), welcomes you (the “User(s)”, or “you”) to our website (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy (the “PrivacyPolicy”) is intended to describe our practices regarding the information we may collect from you when you use the Site, the manners in which we may use such information, and the choices and rights available to you.

Capitalized terms that are used but not defined herein, shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Site Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) available at -> Link, which incorporate the terms of this Privacy Policy by reference.

BY ENTERING, CONNECTING TO, ACCESSING AND/OR USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY, INCLUDING WITH RESPECT TO THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION (AS DEFINED BELOW). 2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect two types of information from the Users:

  1. The first type of information is non-identifiable and anonymous information (“Non-Personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of the User from which we have collected Non-Personal Information. Non-Personal Information is any unconcealed information which is available to us while Users are using the Site. Non-Personal Information which is being gathered consists of technical and behavioral information, and may contain, among other things, the activity of the User on the Site, a User’s “click-stream” on the Site, etc.
  2. The second type of information is information that identifies an individual, or may with reasonable effort identify an individual, either alone or in combination with other information (“Personal Information”). This information may identify you or be otherwise associated with you. The Personal Information that we gather consists of any personal details provided voluntarily by the Users or on their behalf. The Personal Information may be required from the User while filling in contact forms or otherwise contacting us, may include the User’s name and e-mail address, and the User may also voluntarily provide other information in free text fields as part of a dedicated message to us.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt, any Non-Personal Information connected or linked to any Personal Information shall be deemed Personal Information for as long as such connection or linkage exists. Under this Privacy Policy, the term “information” shall mean both Personal and Non-Personal Information.

We do not collect any Personal Information from you without your approval, which is obtained, inter alia, through your acceptance of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

The information may be collected via the following methods:

We may disclose Personal Information in the following cases:

Law enforcement, legal proceedings, and as authorized by law: We may disclose personal information to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request.

Protecting Rights and Safety: We may share personal information to enforce the Terms of Use (including this Privacy Policy) or any other agreements between you (or any persons affiliated with you) and us, including investigation of potential violations thereof; to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; to respond to your support requests; to respond to claims that any content available on the Site violates the rights of third parties; to respond to claims that contact information (e.g., name, e-mail address) of a third party has been posted or transmitted without their consent or as a form of harassment; to protect our rights, property, or personal safety, the Users, or any other person; for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the Personal Information; or pursuant to your explicit approval prior to such disclosure.

Our Affiliated Companies: We may share personal information internally with our family of companies for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition, when we or any of our affiliated companies is undergoing any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of its assets, we may share personal information with the parties involved in such event under strict confidentiality and non-use terms. If we believe that such change in control might materially affect your personal information then stored with us, we will notify you of this event and the choices you may have via prominent notice on our Site.

Third Parties and Business Partners: We also partner with certain third parties to provide selected services that are used to facilitate and enhance the Site, and your use thereof (“Service Providers”). Such Service Providers may have access to, or process on our behalf personal information which we collect, hold, use, analyze, process and/or manage. These Service Providers include hosting, database and server co-location services (e.g. GoDaddy Web Hosting), to facilitate certain activities relating to the analysis of our Site, and our business, legal and financial advisors. We remain responsible for any personal information processing done by Service Provider on our behalf, except for events outside of our and/or their reasonable control, and except with respect to Service Providers with which you are contractually engaged, either through a prior separate contractual engagement and/or through acceptance of their privacy policy and terms of use if such are referenced under section ‎10 below.

For the avoidance of doubt, we may transfer and disclose Non-Personal Information to third parties at our sole discretion.

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, share, or rent your Personal Information collected from our services to third parties. We may however transfer, share, or otherwise use anonymized, aggregated, or non-personal information at our sole discretion and without the need for further approval. You expressly consent to the sharing of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

7. MODIFICATION OR DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We retain the Personal Information we collect only for as long as needed in order to provide you with our services and to comply with applicable laws and regulations. We then either delete it from our systems or anonymize it without further notice to you.

If you withdraw your consent to our processing your Personal Information, we will delete your Personal Information from our systems (except to the extent retaining such data in whole or in part is necessary to comply with any applicable rule or regulation and/or to respond to or defend against legal proceedings brought against us or our affiliates), as further described in Section ‎13 below.

8. MINORS

To use the Site, you must be over the age of eighteen (18). Therefore, we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from persons under the age of eighteen (18) and do not wish to do so. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage so that we can verify that persons under the age of eighteen (18) are not using the Site.

9. SECURITY

We employ industry-standard procedures and policies to maintain the security of our Site and the User’s Personal Information and to prevent unauthorized access to it. However, we do not and cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or use will never occur.

Examples include web hosting, analyzing data, and conducting customer relationship management. These third party service providers have access to the information needed to perform their respective functions, but may not use it for other purposes unless such data has been first anonymized. Further, they must process that information in accordance with these terms and as permitted by applicable law.

11. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

We may use industry-standard technologies, such as “cookies” or similar technologies, which store certain information about you on your computer and allow us to enable the automatic activation or personalization of certain features, thereby making your interactions with us more convenient and efficient. Most browsers will allow you to easily erase cookies from your computer’s hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. However, if you block or erase cookies, your online experience and our ability to provide you with the Site services may be limited or degraded. We do not respond to do-not-track signals setting on your browser as the protocol and form for such setting has not yet been generally accepted.

12.WHERE DO WE STORE USER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Information regarding the Users will be maintained, processed, and stored by us and our authorized affiliates and service providers in the United States and as necessary, in secured cloud storage provided by our third-party service provider(s), which may include facilities located outside of the aforementioned location.

While the data protection laws in the above jurisdictions may be different than the laws of your residence or location, please know that we, our affiliates, and our service providers that store or process your Personal Information on our behalf are each committed to keep it protected and secured, pursuant to this Privacy Policy and industry standards, regardless of any lesser legal requirements that may apply in their jurisdiction.

Specifically, each of our Service Providers (as such term is defined above) which store or process your Personal Information either: (i) assured us that they provide adequate safeguards to protect your rights to privacy; (ii) where applicable, hold and process such information on our behalf in jurisdictions which have been determined to ensure an adequate level protection by the EU Commission; (iii) perform such processing pursuant to your consent and acceptance of their privacy policy as further detailed in this Privacy Policy.

By providing your information, you expressly consent to the place of storage and transfer described above, including transfers outside of the jurisdiction in which the information was provided.

13.UPDATING, OBTAINING A COPY OF, OR DELETING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If the law applicable to you grants you such rights, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information that is stored in our systems. You may also ask for our confirmation as to whether or not we process your Personal Information.

Subject to the limitations in law, you may also be entitled to obtain the Personal Information you directly provided us (i.e., excluding data we obtained from other sources) in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and may have the right to transmit such data to another party.

14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The terms of this Privacy Policy will govern our interactions and your use of the Site, and any information collected in connection therewith. We will notify you regarding material changes to the terms of this Privacy Policy by notice on the Site. Such material changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice is provided on our Site. Otherwise, changes to this Privacy Policy are effective as of the stated “Last Updated” date, and your continued use of the Site after the “Last Updated” date will constitute your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, such changes.
